Getting Tivo to send "sky" button before changing channel

I have just 'rediscovered' a problem I previously had a solution to before I upgraded to Altepg last weekend.
When the sky box is in standby (powercut earlier today in the storms) and tivo sends the channel code to start a new recording you only get a blank recording as the sky box doesn't come out of standby.
ISTR that there was a code set to use that sends the "sky" button before changing the channel - unfortunately I can't find my notes for the old-style white sky plus box I am using to drive Tivo.
Any suggestions please?

From memory try Sky Digital code 20017 for a Sky+ box.

Yep.
- Code: Select all
Manf No Sky button Sky button
---- ------------- ------------
Grundig 20000 = 20014 (repeating digits, unreliable, avoid)
Grundig 20006 = 20016 (use this for normal Sky digiboxes)
Pace 20010 = 20017 (use this for Sky+ digiboxes)
Sky 20006 = 20016 (use this for normal Sky digiboxes) [copy of Grundig codes]
Sky = 20057 (for Sky Radio - sends extra leading zero for Radio channels)
Sky = 20058 (for Sky Radio with a Sky+ box - sends extra leading zero for Radio channels)
The "Sky" manufacturer obviously got renamed later on. And they added "Sky Digital" instead of pace/grundig etc which they should have done all along.

Yep. The sky / sky digital 20016 codes are a straight copy.
