WANTED: Working AltEPG Series 1 TiVo

Sadly it looks like my current TiVo of 14 years odd service has bitten the dust following a power cut today. Totally dead, no sign of life - I've changed the fuse to no avail but sadly don't have the technical skill or confidence to go any further than that.

It's been a day long expected and long dreaded. This is the second TiVo series 1 I've owned, going all the way back to the Comet sell off in 2002.

If anyone is aware of any working AltEPG Series 1 TiVos with Cachecard/Tivonet that are available please drop me a PM.

In a outcome worthy of Lazarus my TiVo came back to life overnight Wednesday/Thursday and it now seems to be working - although maybe not the fan.

On Sunday it was dead; no lights, no HDD noise, no video output, nothing at all. I Ieft it plugged in and noticed yesterday that the red record light was on, switched to SCART input on the TV and it was there.

Checking the logs via TiVoWeb I can see it came back to life around 00:05 on Thursday morning, last entries before then are from Sunday afternoon.

I have now purchased a lottery ticket
